This is a useful class for SARTECH 2 and 3 SAR volunteers who serve as ground searchers. Training is set for small groups, and is in person one day training.

About the event
SAR ground searcher is not just anyone who can walk through the woods and fields, and eliminating search areas of interest.
SAR ground searcher will usually hold a SARTECH 2 or SARTECH 3 qualification, and will have basic skills in area search.
In this class we will prepare and/or refresh gound searcher skills for anyone preparing for testing, or preparing for volunteering with SAR organization.
Some skills we will brush up on:
- width sweep
- tracking yourself in real time
- search patterns
- search treshold
- and area search practical tests
- reporting clues SAR 135
- Reading and filling SAR 104, SAR 112
