Ukrainian working K9s need your help!

Due to persisting dire situation in Ukraine, working K9 teams are among those struggling with access to proper supplies and gear. Each K9 needs to be trained in multiple disciplines and for good training they require good training equipment. As you can imagine these K9 teams can't skip a beat and are indispensable in searching for the missing Ukrainian people, searching for illegal explosives, ammunition and weapons, as well as patrol streets during conflicting times, working tirelessly around the clock keeping the Ukrainian people a little safer from unnecessary harm.

Previously we were able to collect donations via GoFundMe, unfortunately that is no longer possible due to their changing rules regarding countries in conflict.
If you would like to continue to support these units with me, we will keep looking for ways to help. Stay tuned.

How did I get involved in supporting Ukrainian K9 teams?
I got a chance to connect with and get to know these brave teams through our mutual European detection mentor, Tobias Gustavsson. I follow the unit on social media and I noticed they were asking for help with basic supplies (from medical to transportation). I've been inquiring about possibly sending them medical kits but that proved very hard for bureaucratic reasons, so I asked them if they needed any training gear for the dogs. Of course they did!
I was able to start up a GoFundMe for The Ukrainian K9s but that was halted after just several weeks. GoFundMe does not elaborate for their reasons, but I understand countries in conflict (never mind the side) are not where they encourage fundraisers to gather funds for.
We were able to collect a decent amount in a short time - thanks to you, and your donations were used for purchase of several protection training equipment pieces.
Breakdown of the Fundraiser:
Funds in: $1,725
Dog gear and postage: $2,410
The difference is covered by myself and my husband Eric :)
